I just wanted to drop a quick note to say thank you! We had a great time. Santa Barbara is still my favorite place. On another quick note I wanted you to know that Tom is a really great host. I know you think he paid me to say that, but he did a great job. ...I must tell you that everyone on the bus loved his "Tom" humor. I truly think that he knows something about everything. Hello, I just wanted to send a quick email to let you know of the excellent service we received today on our Santa Barbara wine tour. My sister was visiting from the East Coast and was very impressed with your services. Everyone we dealt with (Tommy at pick-up and Tom D. and Candy for our tour) was very friendly and professional. It was obvious that Tom D. is very knowledgable about the region. Our lovely picnic lunch was fresh and delicious and we appreciated the nice touches--real china and silverware, linen napkins, table clothes. We were able relax and enjoy ourselves. I just wanted to take a moment to comment on my last tour (this Friday). I have taken the grapeline 4-5 times in Paso and this ranked as my best tour experience yet. Ray was our tour guide again and he is amazing ... he is extremely knowledgable about wine and the vineyards in the area. He took me and my family to places that I had not visited yet and it was awesome. He was very responsive and created a memorable event for my family which had flown in from North Carolina for the weekend. Ray is definately the best tour guide that I have had on the grapeline. Grapeline: My husband and friends and I were on the grapevine wine tour along Foxen Canyon rd on Saturday, with Fritz and Kris. I just want to say that they were FANTASTIC! Putting our tasting glasses in boxes for us and generally just allowing us to relax and enjoy ourselves was a great service. Not having to worry about driving that road was also a great relief. It allowed me to taste the wine too, rather than just be a designated driver! Your company has obviously thought it all out, and we enjoyed ourselves... We will be considering taking another ride with you later in the year, either in San Luis or Paso. I wish you continued success with your business. Cheers! Connie Appel

Loved the tour!! Tommy was a great guide and driver, and the whole experience was perfect. Lunch was delicious. Nice to visit wineries and not have to drive. Enjoyed lots of laughs! Will definitely do this with you again! Thanks...-Janet

Last Monday my daughter Megan and I had the pleasure of being guided on our tour by Tom. He was so knowledgeable, informative and accommodating to us. There wasn't a think we would change about our tour except to extend it for another day. What a great time we had and what a wonderful guide Tom is! Thanks, Cindy Wills

Hello, We took your wine tour this past Saturday, 5/2/09. Just wanted to thank you for an awesome time! We had 8 girls for a bachlorette party. We had a great driver, Tommy Whalen. He was very knowledgeable about beautiful wine country. He was extremely nice and attentive. Tommy would seek us out wherever we were and pick up our packages that we purchased at the wineries and load them in the van. He also had an incredible lunch for us, complete with table clothes, place mats, cloth napkins and real silverware. He treated us like royalty. A big thank you to Tommy. My wife and I went on a tour 4/13/2009 with Tom D. and we must say it was absolutely fantastic. Tom was very knowledgeable about the area and especially the specific wineries. While speaking with Tom, he pointed out that we should send you an email regarding Grapeline being recommended to us. The person who recommended your tour company to us was Teresa and the Hadsten House Inn and Spa. We hope to visit the area again sometime in the future and will definitely recommend Grapeline to others we know visiting the Santa Ynez Valley. We had a great time. Thank you. Grapeline, We had a wonderful day with Thomas and the other guests. He was so courteous, fun, and laid back...a great guy and fun guide. Our lunch was wonderful---the spot was scenic, and the food was delicious...we enjoyed Firestone, Fess Parker, Foxen( very different! friendly staff), and the ladies of Tres Hermanas were gracious and inviting -- a lovely way to end our tour!!! Thank you for the comfort, attention to detail, and a fun excursion! Tell Tom I will send the pics of me riding Champion to Gogrape.com!

Hi, I just want to share with you the great experience my husband and I had on the Grapeline on Friday, March 20th. This was our first time doing something like this and we were a little skeptical. After our experience on Friday, I would definitely recommend the Grapeline to anyone and want to take all our out of town visitors. Our driver/guide Tom was friendly and knowledgable. He was able to tell us a lot about the area as we drove from Santa Barbara to the wineries, making stops to pick up other groups along the way. The wineries were all great and well prepared for our larger group. The picnic lunch at Fess Parker was wonderful and the location was fantastic. Thank you for making our first wine tour such a great experience. Jill Martin

My husband and I just wanted to say how much we enjoyed our wine tasting tour in Santa Barbara on Tuesday. Our guide, Tom, was fabulous. He really made the tour fit the group rather than making the group fit into a preordained itinerary. We hope you have guides that good in your other locations since we intend to try them all. Dear Grapeline Staff, I would like to thank Tom Whalen and The Grapeline for a wonderful wine tasting day this past Wednesday. Tom was a great driver and host. He kept us informed along our beautiful ride through wine country, he pointed out different winery's and points of intrest, answered questions, and he had an all over great attitude. I loved the way he walked our party into each winery and made sure we were taken care of. My favorite winery was Fess Parker, that was our lunch stop. After our tasting Tom escorted us out to a fabulous outdoor setting including cute round tables with wonderful table cloths, the atmosphere and lunch was more then expected. This was my first wine tasting tour and because of the exceptional attention to detail we received form our driver and host Tom Whalen we will be sure to book a return visit. My mother and I took the tour on September 8 and had a fantastic time. Tom was a fabulous guide and we had a wonderful day. I was impressed with how easy everything was made for us and I can't think of anything that wasn't great. The lunch was really good and visiting a range of wineries was really educational. I also liked that Tom asked if people had any preferences of wineries, but had a gameplan lined up for us as well. To anyone looking for something to do on vacation with their parents or with anyone else, I'd highly recommend the grapeline tour. Thanks for a wonderful trip! Best regards -- Anna Fenston
