GRAPELINE WINE TOURS OFFICIAL BLOG
FOR THE 1ST TIME EVER IN SANTA BARBARA WINE COUNTRY
Santa Ynez Valley of Santa Barbara Wine Country. Women enjoying views at Vega Vineyard & Farm, red wine at Firestone Vineyard, and a tasting in the barrel room at Fess Parker Winery & Vineyard.

My Signature Series Tour, Bottled Poetry, is coming to the Santa Ynez Valley on Saturday, January 27, 2024! I’ve dreamt about this for a very long time, and I’m excited to finally share it with you.

Santa Barbara wine country is, by far, one of the most beautiful and exquisite regions I’ve visited. It’s home to some of the best food, wines, and views in the world, and I’ve had the pleasure of enjoying several of them during my travels. With more than 275 wineries, seven approved American Viticultural Areas (AVAs), and 70+ grape varieties grown in the region, it’s hard to know where to begin exploring. That’s why I created this special tour.

So, plan to ‘unwind & wine’ after the holidays with Grapeline’s Chief Winos, John & Kim Kelliher, where you will savor farm-to-table food & estate wines and discover what some of the top-rated wineries in the region have to offer. Check out the itinerary below!

1. Start the day on a private tour with exclusive access to Firestone Vineyard and its production facilities, where you will enjoy charcuterie with signature wines hosted in the members only lounge. Added Bonus: Sample wines will be offered by their local sister properties, Lincourt Vineyards and Foley Estates Vineyard & Winery.

2. At Vega Vineyard & Farm, indulge in a three-course farm-to-table lunch prepared by the in-house chef featuring fresh, local ingredients, while experiencing award-winning wines by renowned winemaker Steve Clifton.

 3. End the tour on a perfect note at the newly renovated Fess Parker Winery & Vineyard with a custom-curated tasting flight of five single vineyard wines in Fess Parker's Barrel Room. This private showing will offer knowledge and insight into their carefully crafted wines.

The tour will be in wine country from 10:30am to 4:00pm (not including pick-up and drop-off times). Hotel pick-ups are available in Santa Ynez Valley, Solvang, Buellton, and Los Olivos. Out-of-area transportation from the City of Santa Barbara is available for an additional $20 per person.

Moreover, if you’re one of my Club Kay members with Grapeline, you can SAVE $50 PER PERSON! Simply use the promotion code: CLUBKAY50. If you’re not a member, SIGN UP for this no-cost program and start earning rewards with every tour you take.
