DISCOVER NEW FLAVORS AT FAZELI CELLARS, A TEMECULA VALLEY JEWEL
Fazeli Cellars Brunch

As someone who enjoys going on wine tours, I always look forward to indulging in the latest and greatest reds, whites, and rosés each winery has to offer. There's an undeniable thrill in uncorking a bottle, knowing that each sip will tell a great story.

While I love discovering new and innovative blends, savoring a well-aged vintage, and reveling in those nightcaps after a long day, my journey through the world of gastronomy has shown me that the pairing of wine and food is where the real magic happens. One of my favorite places for the perfect pairing is none other than Fazeli Cellars in Temecula, CA.

Fazeli Cellars has carefully crafted a Persian-Mediterranean inspired menu that is uniquely flavorful. They offer a number of sweet and savory brunch items created by their chef and culinary team that pair well with their in-house wines, premium cocktails, and fabulous flights. Check out my top 3 pairings below:

1. Smoked Salmon Avocado Toast with a 2021 Ruby Rose Dry: Imagine sitting in the courtyard at Fazeli Cellars and basking in the warm California sun when a beautiful plate filled with yummy goodness is brought to you along with a perfect Provence-style dry rosé? Now we’re talking! This dreamy dish consists of smashed avocado, pickled onions, shirazi salad, yogurt-dill cream cheese, serrano, grain toast, and smoked salmon. The rosé’s fresh, crisp, dry style creates a harmonious bridge between the smokey salmon and the creamy avocado. This pairing is an experience that truly indulges the senses.

2. Eggs Benedict with a 2021 Vermentino: Delight in a perfectly poached egg with turmeric hollandaise, bacon, breakfast potato, English muffin, and smashed avocado on a Sunday afternoon while sipping on a refreshingly fruit-forward white wine. The Vermentino’s stone fruit, pear and citrus notes complement the hollandaise's velvetiness while drawing out the saltiness of the bacon. This iconic pairing is one for the books.

3. Brioche French Toast with a “Bigger Than Life'' Mimosa: Is it even considered brunch if you don’t have a mimosa? In my book, it’s definitely not! Fazeli’s mimosa not only comes with a variety of juices, but it’s also the size of my head! The dish is plated with a 24-hour soaked brioche toast, seasonal jam, walnut-bacon mascarpone, and maple syrup. AANNNDDDD now I’m hungry…Getting back on track, if you’re looking for something that hits the spot, go with this plate of happiness.

Are you ready to brunch in Temecula Wine Country? I highly recommend you head over to Fazeli Cellars, dine among the vines, and experience what this winery is serving up.
